The Joint Convention (JC) is a conference between the Himpunan Ahli Geofisika Indonesia (HAGI) dan Ikatan Ahli Geologi Indonesia (IAGI), every two years starting in 2003. 

Seeing the success rate of holding this Joint Convention in previous years, since 2015 HAGI and IAGI have invited two other associations, namely is Ikatan Ahli Sarana Produksi Migas Indonesia (IAFMI) dan Ikatan Ahli Teknik Perminyakan Indonesia (IATMI) to organize the event in Balikpapan, and in 2017 the Joint Convention event in Malang, 2019 in Yogyakarta and in 2021 these four associations again joined to hold a similar conference in the city of Bandung. 

This event will be held on 23 – 25 November 2021 in Bandung (online), West Java, with the main theme: “Strategic Alliance Acceleration in Natural Resources Utilization and Hazard Mitigation for National Resilience”.
